Support for a series of experiments at the University of Tübingen

Specialist expertise provided for a series of experiments at the University of Tübingen

The anchors produced by “Glienke-Hemmerlein Metall GmbH” are even in demand for scientific research!

Earth anchors are being used for a series of experiments being carried out by the University of Tübingen at a marine reserve off the coast of Corsica. Untreated anchors were used so as not to disturb the local marine biology.

In order to help set up the experiment, “Glienke-Hemmerlein Metall GmbH” provided the “Institute for Evolution and Ecology” at the University of Tübingen with the anchors for floating aquariums free of charge and gladly supported the scientific work and research using its specialist expertise!

Alongside this study, a short-term experiment that involved installing screw anchors made out of the materials 1.4301 and 1.4571 into the seabed was carried out to test the corrosive behaviour of the individual materials in a marine atmosphere.
