Air cable holders are used for the above-ground routing of communication cables. Here, a distinction is made depending on the strength of the cable used. There are air cable brackets approved for communication cables with up to 24 fibers and aerial cable brackets for communication cables with up to 144 fibers.
Depending on the design of the mast system, the mounts for the wooden mast, flat mast, corner post mast, I-wide flange mast and concrete mast differ. All air cable mounts were developed by the then "Glienke Gerätebau GmbH" together with Deutsche Bahn and are manufactured according to their specifications. For all offered aerial cable mounts there is a corresponding approval of Deutsche Bahn AG.
